Emory Launches Mobility Master Plan and Safety Study
Emory University Transportation and Parking Services (TPS) launched a Mobility Master Plan and Safety Study earlier this fall to guide the future of how the Emory community travels to, from, and around the Atlanta campus. This study will evaluate existing parking and transportation systems, transportation demand management (TDM) programs, and identify opportunities to improve safety, efficiency, access, and sustainability across all modes of travel.
Since the project's launch, Emory's consultant has conducted small group stakeholder meetings with a variety of campus and healthcare partners. This community survey is the next step in the engagement process.
Faculty, staff, students, Emory Healthcare employees, and visitors are invited to share their experience and ideas through a brief online survey. Feedback from the Emory community will directly shape recommendations that make getting around Emory easier and more connected.
"This effort is about shaping what mobility at Emory looks like for the next decade and beyond," says Walter Kolis, Assistant Director of Transportation and Parking Services. "By sharing your experience and your ideas, you'll help Emory design a safer, smarter, and more sustainable future for everyone who travels to and around our campus."
