Zipcar
 Zipcar is a private company that provides 24-hour, seven day a week car sharing services in metro Atlanta, including Emory's campus. Car sharing allows members who commute by carpool, vanpool, MARTA or other means without driving to campus, to have access to a car for errands and short trips while at Emory.
Reserving a car online with Zipcar is easy and members have access to a car without paying any insurance, gas, cleaning or maintenance costs. Zipcar has several convenient locations on Emory's campus.
As an incentive for registered members of Emory's commute options program, Emory will pay for the initiation fee and first year's maintenance dues for faculty and staff. Zipcar rates are $8-$11/hour, depending on the car reserved.

Emory Faculty and Staff
Emory faculty and staff who are registered members of the alternative commute program can sign up for Zipcar, and non-registered faculty and staff can use Zipcar also.
Emory Departmental Accounts
Find out if your Emory department has an existing Zipcar account. Review these guidelines carefully before making a reservation on an Emory departmental account. Departments without existing accounts can register for one.
Emory Students
Students, including those under 21, can register to use Zipcar.
Zipcar members are responsible for all fees, penalties or fines they incur.
