Transportation / Cliff Shuttles

I was surprised to find the benefits to taking the shuttle went beyond my pocketbook. No longer do I need to fight traffic or search for a parking space, both a bit stressful at times. Now, I ride in air-conditioned comfort, listen to my favorite music and arrive at work relaxed and ready to take on the day. And now I get some exercise each day walking to and from the bus stop and feel better in the process. And, who wouldn’t feel good about helping the planet in some small way? I would recommend taking the shuttle to everyone. It's easy and convenient and a great benefit in many, many ways.

- Meredith Fisher, Emory Healthcare

I take the CCTMA shuttle to Emory. It just makes sense for me to take advantage of the benefit of living close to campus and working at Emory. I also get a little exercise every day walking back and forth to the bus stop. Then there's the added bonus of knowing I'm helping the environment by taking one car off the road. The money I save by taking Cliff is helping to pay tuition for my two kids in college.

- Debye Alderman, Emory University

I usually ride my bike to campus, but if it's raining or really cold, I will catch the Cliff shuttle. It's much faster to ride my bike to campus. I pass all of the cars that are stuck in rush hour traffic, and I park my bike right next to the building where I have class. Riding my bike to school provides healthy exercise and helps me wake up in the morning. By the time I reach campus, I'm alert and ready to go.

- Marie Walters, student, Emory University

Sometimes I ride my bike, but most days I ride the Cliff shuttles to get to class. I enjoy riding Cliff shuttles because it's better for the environment and reduces traffic in the area. Plus, it's always fun to see who else is riding the shuttles.
