I am a first year undergraduate student. How do I register my vehicle?

First year students participating in their first complete year of academic study as an undergraduate in the 2008 2009 academic year are not allowed to bring a vehicle on campus.

How do I apply for a parking permit?
A.
Students may register for parking online at the parking office homepage. Online registration requires a user name, password, and Emory ID number.
During the student registration period from April to August for the following academic year, there will not be any walk-in registration for student parking at the parking office.

What do I need to show to pick up my parking permit?
A.
Students must produce their vehicle registration and Emory ID at the time of permit pick-up.

Can I pay my parking fees with my student account?
A.
Yes. Payment associated with online registration will be made by charging your student account only. Student account charges will be posted immediately following the pick-up of your permit. Parking charges must be paid within 30 days of posting. Please note that parking charges are not eligible for the payment plan and this charge may post after you have received an initial refund if you are an aid recipient.

As a student, what are my Commute Options?
A.
Commute Options in place of regular parking are available to all Emory students and include the following: Carpool participate in carpools with other students or with an employee and share the cost of a student permit Cliff shuttles park in the park-n-ride lots and use Cliff at no cost Vanpool students would need to have a regular schedule of arrival and departure from campus each day to benefit. Where do I pick up my parking permit?
A.
Students who have registered for parking will be able to pick up their permits and decals at various locations during student registration and orientation for the fall semester.
Q.
How can I appeal a parking ticket?
A.
Appeals may be made only by those individuals who have properly registered for parking privileges and have paid all appropriate fees. Appeals submitted after seven calendar days of the ticket issue date will be accepted only after payment of the fine.
